The 2019 school year is coming to a close, but Rockwall High School’s theater is not going to let it end without a bang! This May, get ready for three nights of Rockwall talent showing off what they have learned this year. To check out what classes will be performing what shows and when, check out the list below.

Improv Contest – May 15 at 7 p.m. – $5 ticket

RHS students have formed their own troupes to compete in an improv contest. Attend to see your classmates act without a script for the top rank of this year’s best improv troupe.

Senior Directed & Theater II-IV Shows – May 21 $5 a show or $12 for night

Theater III and IV plan to perform Crushed by Don Zolidis, a One Act Play focusing on the ups and downs of teenage crushes.

Theater II plans on performing Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, by Don Zolidis, a whacky retelling of classic fairy tales in just two acts.

The theater seniors have banded together to perform their own play. Directed, written, and produced by seniors they send off one last goodbye to their school with a once-in-a-lifetime play!

Partner Theater Musical Mashup – May 22 – $5 ticket

Partner Theater takes on a brand new perspective on the musical genre: instead of performing one musical, Partner Theater plans to perform several numbers from different musicals in one big mashup.

All shows will be held at Rockwall High’s theater, ticket prices are not final. For more information, email Mrs. Shelton at [email protected] or visit the Black Box.
