1. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle engaged to be married

If you’re the type of person who is obsessed with Will and Kate even though their lives don’t apply to you at all, you’ll be extremely excited to hear that in May of 2018, Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle will say “I do.” In a sweet, very giggly interview, they told lighthearted stories (including one that explained how Prince Harry proposed), and gave more serious announcements, like how Meghan will not continue acting after they are married. Suits, the show that she’s on, has not said whether or not they will continue without her.

On Wednesday morning, fellow Today hosts Hoda Katb and Savannah Guthrie tearfully announced that Matt Lauer had been fired. According to NBC’s official announcement, this comes after an allegation from a trusted source who implied that it may have happened multiple times in the past.

After a few weeks of voting, the book for One Book One School has finally been decided! Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is a book filled with 80’s nostalgia, geeky references, and adventure that the school will all enjoy. 5. Michael Flynn pleads guilty for lying to the FBI

The President’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guility to lying to the FBI this morning. He had lied about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Authorties indicated in court he was acting under instructions from senior Trump transition officals in dealings with the diplomat.
